Wael Ghonim, former Google executive, is a thirty-year-old Arab that respects civil rights and demands change from a corrupted government. A case involving a dead, young, innocent civilian was killed in police custody inspired him to bring this corruption towards publicity. He began by creating a Facebook page indicating his ideas to maintain a peaceful government. Furthermore, he then generated a revolution without violence from his culture of fear, by commencing a movement that involved millions of Egyptians. He and his followers did not fight, but they still demonstrated a peaceful and civil revolution. In the end, his revolution ended on Jan 25th with 12 million Egyptians removing Hosni Mubarak and his regime. Wael Ghonim is a smart, peaceful, ordinary man that changes the Arab world a step at a time.
