Group Limerick

There was a cow who yelled moo.
He fell into his own poo.
A magician with spells,
had saved him from hell,
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.

Waters

In the distant sea.
Marine life seems to glisten.
Waves of pure allure.
The swift silence of water.
Blends good tidings of the heart.
Tanka.

Attitude

Some days I feel so sad,
some days I cannot last.
Some days there is no glad,
some days I have a blast.

When life seems to get hard,
Take a look at the world.
The anger, the pain, barred,
Weeps will wither and whirl.

What means a lot to all,
is attitude! that's all!

CXXXII Thine Eyes I Love

Thine eyes I love, and they, as pitying me,
Knowing thy heart torments me with disdain,
Have put on black and loving mourners be,
Looking with pretty ruth upon my pain.
And truly not the morning sun of heaven
Better becomes the grey cheeks of the east,
Nor that full star that ushers in the even,
Doth half that glory to the sober west,
As those two mourning eyes become thy face:
O! let it then as well beseem thy heart
To mourn for me since mourning doth thee grace,
And suit thy pity like in every part.
Then will I swear beauty herself is black,
And all they foul that thy complexion lack.

Ideal Dad

Jason
Dad sees me leave.
He passes his work to his boss.
Hardworking, loving, greatest dad of all.

Kelly
Dad usually drives dangerously.
His height is very tall, and we can hide behind him.
Dad goes diving to dig diamonds in the deep dark ocean.

Mark
The old dude who reads news on the moon.
He wears a suit that suits and he looks cute.
He watches football while sitting nude and his team lose.

Steven
Dad Vrooms in the driveway.
The door creaks as he comes in.
Tap tap he walks to  my room.

Clever

Clever
As poor as a lord.
As strong as a herd,

As cute as a pony,

As smart as nerd.

As thin as a dimension,
As white as a lie,
As fit as a block,
As dumb as a fly.

As bald as an eagle,
As neat as a freak,
As proud as a soul,
As ugly as a geek.

Use fresh similes when
you speak and you write,
so your friends will think you are
quite clever and bright.
