Week 3 SAT Words

Blasphemy (n.) - anything that shows or reveals God.
In movies, sometimes people yell out, "Blasphemy!" To show how ridiculous something is and to say OMG in other words.

Bohemian (adj.) - a person, whom lives in an unconventional life.
Bohemian Rhapsody was about a little boy who killed a maaaaaaaan, put a gun against his head and pulled the trigger now he's dead.

Camaraderie (n.) - friendliness and trustworthiness.
Camaro Concept is a car manufactured from Chevrolet, or the common friendly car dealership.

Canard (n.) - a fallacy that leads to misinterpretation.
Change Ca to 'ret' and you get someone who doesn't understand how to express themselves and will cause other people to think twice about them.

Censure (n.) - severe criticism.
You are able to sense and ensure that a storm is coming, and when it comes, it brings destruction.

Chronic (adj.) - something consistently occurring repetitively.
Again, Chron is Greek for Time and 'ic' sounds like hiccups, which are repetitive.

Circuitous (adj.) - loop, U turn, indirect; detour.
Circuit is a circlular race track where cars continue to loop around the track.

Clairvoyant (adj.) - fortune teller, see the future.
"Clear Voyage," said the man whom provides watch over the ship in the crow's nest and helps guide the ship.

Collaborate (v.) - to gather ideas together and work together.
Collaborate is just another one of those words that I know, so just work with it.

Compassion (n.) - sympathy for one that is in troubled.
You feel passion for someone especially one whom is troubled you feel sympathetic for them, and that person is sad.
